The 16th edition of International Conference on Fiber Optics and Photonics, PHOTONICS – 2024 (www.photonics2024.in), is being organized by the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering, and Dept. of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur during the period 12th-15th December 2024 at IIT Kharagpur with one day tutorial on 12th December 2024.
PHOTONICS – 2024 is the 16th in the series of this Biennial Conference. Historically, the first of this series of international conferences on Photonics in India was held at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1992 under the name CEOT, which was renamed as Photonics in 1996 when it was held at IIT Madras. Earlier in 2014, IIT Kharagpur had successfully organized this conference. The last one, PHOTONICS-2023, was held at IISc Bangalore.
